The Battery
The battery fitted on Oxygen Emate Ebike is the advanced technology 36V 10Ah Lithium - Ion battery with the lifetime of approximately 500 recharge cycles without significant capacity looses. Lithium Ion batteries are currently the most common types of energy storage. These are widely used in many devices such as laptops and notebook computers and their high efficiency and practicality becomes more popular in the many new applications.

Electric Drive
The electric drive used on Emate is a extremely reliable brushless hub motor which has fitted the internal gearbox that increases the maximum torque of the motor. In simple words it means that the bicycle has even the greater ability in hill climbing than the ordinary hub motors. As a result of that you can finally ride going up the hills without worries of being out of your breath. This advanced technology enables E-mate to make your hilly trips even more enjoyable.

Triple Mode of Operation
The electric drive fitted on Oxygen Emate electric bike gives you more flexibility than you might think. It's a triple mode of operation what means that you have three different options of riding the bike.

Mode 1:  It's an intelligent pedal assist system. The motor will be running only when you pedal and what's more clever it will know when you need the assist. It turns on automatically soon after when you start pedalling. The intelligent controller automatically supplies the power when you need it. If you need to stop the bike, once you pull the brake levers the motor will automatically switch off.

Mode 2: Twist & Go is an off road mode enabling to ride without pedalling. You accelerate by twisting the throttle and no pedalling is required. Please note that this mode is an Off-Road option only and should not be used on the public roads.

Mode 3: Motor is completely switched off. This mode works exactly the same as the normal push bike; you just have to pedal to get you moving

Comment: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bike. I had one for a few months and have used it on roads, and in woods/fields and across grass. It copes really well with all terrain. For someone like me (a thirty something, unfit Mum) who loves cycling, but doesn\'t have the power in their legs to get up steep hills or over very rough ground, it is brilliant. I can now keep up with my husband, kids and two dogs. The bike is very comfortable, the saddle is the softest I have ever had and I can easily stay in the saddle for two hours or more. I cycle on this for a ten mile round trip into town and for long runs with the dogs in the woods. I have a permenant grin on my face because I can whizz passed everyone else when they are struggling and not even feel it. I would recommend it for sure.
